Michelle McNamara was a true-crime author best known for her involvement in the pursuit of the Golden State Killer. She spent many years working with police on the case and had almost completed her book entitled "I'll Be Gone in the Dark," when she unexpectedly passed away. In the months after Michelle's tragic death, her husband, comedian Patton Oswalt, released a Netflix special called Annihilation, which ended with a long tribute to his wife. This included her own summation of her entire belief system: “It’s chaos, be kind.”

***I promise doom boxes aren’t meant for anything threatening. It’s common for people with ADHD to throw random things in boxes and bags to get them out of the way instead of putting them where they are supposed to go. Glasses cleaning cloth? In the doom box.  Bottle of Tylenol? Doom box. Pliers you used for that one project 6 weeks ago? Doom box. Random Jolly Rancher? Doom box. Nail polish? Doom box. DOOM stands for Didn’t Organize, Only Moved. I didn’t say it was a great habit, but if you’re gonna have a doom box, at least you can have a pretty one.

Size: approximately 5.25 x 8.5 x 4”
